ABOUT US
We are two life-long, opinionated friends interested in writing about music. We have a very similar taste in music but, as opinionated people usually do, often disagree with each other's preference; debates between us are extensive and heated so we have decided to vent our judgements on here for the public to decide.
Aaron
Aaron is a 3rd year English literature and American studies student at Manchester University with a keen interest in music despite not having a talent for it. His main genre is hip-hop though he does have a wide taste in all music listening to it constantly and frequently going to live shows. In being an English student he loves to analyse music and lyrics and seeing just what an artist can achieve through the words they use. He has also focused his studies on music with his university dissertation being based in hip-hop and taking modules in hip-hop studies.
Jules
Jules is a 2nd year Music Technology student at Sussex, but also produces and DJs in his spare time. He has been studying Music since he was eight, learning how to play the drums before taking a main interest in the technological side of making music. Recently he has performed as a DJ at a range of venues in London and Brighton, such as Brixton Jamm and Bussey Building.
